A new date for the Bay Area Open 2 has been set! Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 12, 2011. This will be a gi only event.

The Pan-Am Championships are just around the corner and competition experience is just as important as practice. It's time to compete against the best in the nation. The Bay Area Open aims to be a low-cost tournament for Northern California jiu-jitsu fighters that will provide valuable mat time which can greatly increase your chances of success at the next level.

About The Bay Area Open
The BAO2 is a fundraiser for the Berkeley High School Wrestling Team sponsored by the Berkeley Athletic Fund (BAF), a non-profit organization. For more information regarding the BAF please visit www.berkeleyathleticfund.org.

The BAO2 will be one day and will be a gi tournament tournament only. The date of the competition is Saturday, February 12, 2011. All competitors will get to compete in at least two matches. A limited number of tournament t-shirts will be awarded to early registrants. Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each division.
